Dorms

Reasonably priced accommodations are available in the university residence halls (dorms) for conference attendees and their registered guests. Attendees will be able to make reservations for on-campus accommodations through UCSB on-campus housing. Note that children under the age of 13 cannot stay in the dormitories, so those bringing younger children will need to make separate arrangements in one of the nearby hotels.

For attendees staying on campus, free shuttle bus service is available between the residence halls and the airport. In addition, parking is also available at no cost to attendees who reside on campus. A permit can be requested upon arrival.

Hotels

For those who choose not to stay in the residence halls, the following is a list of hotels that have provided room blocks for Crypto. Those who choose to stay off-campus are responsible for making their own reservations. Early reservations are advised since August is a popular season in Santa Barbara.

Parking can be purchased for $8/day (Mon-Fri) and $4/day (Sat-Sun).

  Room blocks will be released as early as 45 days prior to the conference.

On-Campus

The Club & Guest House at UC Santa Barbara is a hotel on the campus of the UCSB. A block of rooms have been reserved for Crypto at a reduced rate (listed below). Please note that there are no additional room fees associated with these rates. Room block full.

Off-Campus

Blocks of rooms will be reserved for Crypto in Pacifica Suites, and the Best Western South Coast Inn. Note that a car will be required to travel between any hotel and the campus. All prices are subject to change and do not include a 10-12% tax; prices should be confirmed by calling the hotels directly.

  You must mention UCSB-Crypto when you are making your reservations so you will be eligible for the university rate, which can be a significant savings.
