Virtual Participation

Virtual attendance is free for IACR members, and non-members will only be charged for IACR dues. IACR dues are $50 for regular attendees and $25 for student attendees. Virtual attendees must register in order to get access to the zoom links.

People who register for the conference agree to abide by the IACR code of conduct.

What the Conference Fee Includes

The conference registration fee includes participation in the technical program, all social functions, and an electronic copy of the conference proceedings. Accompanying guests can also be registered for participation in the conference social functions for an accompanying person fee of $300. There is no fee for accompanying children under 18 years old.

For attendees with children

A breastfeeding room equipped with a fridge and an outlet will be available on-site for the use of conference attendees. Please see the reception desk for a key.

The General Chair will be surveying registered attendees prior to the conference about plans to bring accompanying children, so that parents can (optionally) be connected to one another, and a group activity for kids can be planned if there is sufficient interest.

An Important Note for Students

If you are a student presenting at Crypto 2022, your registration fee will be covered by the Cryptography Research Fund for Student Presenters. In order to be eligible, please fill out this form for student presenters before registering for the conference, to obtain a registration waiver token.

A limited number of stipends will be available to students who are unable to obtain funding to attend the conference. Students in under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Please apply for this stipend before registering for on-site housing.

We require that all students requesting funding to attend fill out this form. In addition, the student's advisor or insitution will need to provide a short letter by email that addresses:

  1. why there is a need for funding from the conference; and
  2. whether the advisor or institution will provide any funding to complement awarded partial travel grants, as well as a commitment to a maximal dollar value they are willing to support
This letter should be addressed to the General Chair with the subject "Travel Grant Letter for (applicant name)". Both the application form and the letter must be received by July 5 for notification on July 10.

Note: if you are a student presenter and want to apply for support beyond the registration fee waiver, you will need to complete this information as well.

If either of these forms do not work for you, please send the following information via email to the General Chair:
